Two weekends ago, we were helping our friends with their newborn.  We gave them a date night and an additional uninterrupted night of sleep.  So we had three kids in the house: a 1 month old, a 13 month old, and our 33 month old.  To say the least, our house looked like it exploded.  Cleaning house was the least of our concerns…  it was kind of sad because I had just finally, after a year with ladyBug, figured out a system of taking care of home and kids.  We threw in a newborn and it became a wrench in the engine.  But we had a blast.  and Boo LOVED it.  Boo currently loves all things cute and small, and that included the baby.

explosion in the house!!

while the baby napped, the big kids and Hubby had some fun in the snow =)

“what’s brother doing?”

“my turn”

“ack! what was that?”

Lol, I can certainly sympathize. By the time the baby’s born, Jelly Bean will be 33 mths & Baby Ruth will be 17 months. When I move, I’ll hopefully be closer to you, so maybe we can take turns visiting each other just to see the happy explosion in each other’s homes! ^_^

    • that would be AWESOME! =) Boo and I will be doing BRIAR by then and possibly doing SL p3/4 with his m4 and f5 ELL cousins. We can do playdates or even do lessons/crafts/projects/field trips together =D

Cool! I plan to do Letter of the Week starting in Sept for JB right before she turns 3, and putting together lots of Tot Packs for BR to start in January after she turns 2. We can share resources!

    • how did you decide on LOW? I was thinking about it for the cousins but not sure if it would be a good fit for Boo since he knows all his letters and letter sounds already… but the crafting aspect may be good for him.
